 Welcome
to Pastels by Sally! I create portraits through the use of photographs. By combining
several favorite photos we can create a Pastel Treasure that can be passed
down for generations to come. There are several pricing options,
making each portrait affordable. Your portraits can include,
children, grandchildren, grandparents, favorite pets, cars, watercraft or
homesteads. Gift certificates are also available. For example,
give your favorite bride and groom or expectant parents a gift that
they'll cherish forever. What an excellent gift for that Special
Occasion.
A
Watercolor collage is also an option. In my Watercolor Section I
have combined nine different photos from around the WWII era and created a
memory of time gone by. Painted in black and white and shades of
gray help give this collage an old time feel.
Just about any photo is an
option to create that perfect memory. Just give me a call or email
me. I'm open to try any photo creation, and my work is guaranteed.

Sally's
very first portrait she created in
pastel. Ever since this has been
her favorite medium. Pastel is
pure color so this medium works well for
this colorist. Also pastels lend themselves
to be a very "soft" medium,
Sally can capture very soft edges and

Sally's
mother was the one who really started
her in watercolor. This medium is
slightly harder to work with as it dries
so quickly but the color is also very
vibrant which Sally loves. Using
different papers with her watercolors
allows Sally to experiment with

Sally
has been drawing and painting for quite
some time. Her love of children and
animals has led her to painting
portraits. Sally says, "I
love painting the eyes, that is one of
the first things I attempt when I start
a portrait". Sally creates
portraits in both pastel and watercolor
depending on the feeling she gets from
